Since 1996, Colter Frames has partnered with interior designers and upholsterers to build client-specific, custom furniture frames. We deliver high quality workmanship and style by taking your design visions and making them a reality. You become a furniture designer to deliver your clients with one-of-a-kind furniture pieces to last generations.
The largest part of upholstered furniture quality is in the frame, underneath the foam and fabric. Our handcrafted custom frames are constructed of kiln-dried premium frame alder. We use the highest standards of skilled craftsmen to include special features such as double-dowel joints and corner blocks. Our process includes: glue, stapling, and screwing all of our frames to ensure a lifetime of trouble-free satisfaction and durability.
